Moussa Sow
I design, deploy and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud and AWS, written in Terraform and shipped through GitLab CI pipelines. I also deploy machine learning models and expose them through APIs (MLOps), mostly on GCP. Built on a solid base in networking and applied mathematics.
I treat infrastructure as code, on GCP and AWS
One method, two clouds: everything is described in Terraform, versioned in Git, deployed by pipeline, then maintained and scaled.
Compute & networking
Compute Engine, VPC, load balancing, EC2, subnets, firewall rules.
Infrastructure as Code
Terraform, Jinja2, Ansible: reproducible environments, reviewed like code.
Containers
Docker and Kubernetes (GKE): deployments, services, scaling.
Scaling & high availability
Instance groups, autoscaling, load balancing, distributed systems.
CI/CD
GitLab CI pipelines: build, test, deploy, roll back.
Maintenance
Updates, monitoring, incident fixing, cost optimization.
Deploying AI models and exposing them as APIs
A model is only valuable when it is usable: containerized, deployed to the cloud and reachable through a reliable API.
Model deployment
Containerization with Docker, inference serving on Vertex AI, Cloud Run or GKE, and SageMaker on AWS.
Inference APIs
Exposing a model through a Python REST API: input validation, authentication, versioning, load handling.
MLOps pipelines
Automated build, test and deployment with GitLab CI, environments written in Terraform, versioned models and artifacts.
Production
Autoscaling, zero-downtime updates, rollback, controlled costs.
From infrastructure to AI in production, with mathematical rigor
I moved from mathematics to networking, then to the cloud, with the same standard: break a problem down, look for the counterexample, never mistake a plausible answer for a solid explanation. That is what separates infrastructure that holds in production from infrastructure that only holds on demo day.
Since 15 September 2026 I have been an infrastructure intern at InTouch, where environments run on Google Cloud and AWS. I work on deployment and maintenance: Compute Engine, networking, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jinja2, GitLab CI, scaling and distributed systems. I also care about AI in production: containerizing models, deploying them and exposing them through APIs.
Two years in the field at Multiservices Le Binaire taught me what a lab never shows: the real constraints of a production network. On the side, I write and explain, on mathematics as well as on Senegalese society.
What I actually did
Sep 15, 2026 to presentCloud & DevOps Infrastructure InternInTouch
Infrastructure team of an environment hosted on Google Cloud, partly on AWS.
- Deploying and maintaining Compute Engine resources: networking, subnets and firewall rules.
- Infrastructure written in Terraform, configurations generated with Jinja2 templates, for reproducible environments.
- GitLab CI pipelines to build Docker images and deploy.
- Deploying and running containerized applications on Kubernetes, with scaling.
- Distributed systems mindset: availability, load balancing, day-to-day maintenance.

Web data collection platform for a public administration, from design to production.
- Faithful web reproduction of two official Excel templates, with cascading lists and server-side validation.
- Automatic Excel, Word and PDF exports, including a statistical report written from the figures.
- Dashboard with about twenty charts, yearly filters, print layout.
- Security: CSRF protection, PBKDF2 hashing, lockout after failed logins, access log.
- Installable on phones (PWA), draft kept if the connection drops, three-level backups.
- Audit of the official templates: five anomalies found and fixed, including a hidden module nobody had reported.
- Hosting, SSL and production deployment on shared hosting.
